Hey Bookish peeps!
Its finally December and the weather has turned cold in Georgia! I love being able to curl up with fuzzy blankets and sit by the fire with my latest reading book. A perfect way to end a day. Plus, My Christmas bug is bad this year! I have been so excited to have the Hallmark movies, Christmas lights, and music playing. There was at least an attempt at waiting until Thanksgiving was over, but the day after, it became open season and play they must!
This year has been a busy one! So many books were released that I had been waiting for and I have been working on those reads. I’ve been staying busy with my puppy – my word does he have some crazy puppy energy! And I have been eagerly waiting for December to get here because I get to go to Dragonsteel Nexus this year! AHHH!
If you guys don’t know, every year author Brandon Sanderson holds a convention out in Salt Lake. It is just a giant gathering of his fans and other fantasy book nerds. I say “just” like it is something small – ha! No one can say that any gathering of book fans is a small thing. It is going to be awesome! This year Sanderson is releasing his 5th book in the Words of Radiance series at the convention and I am so excited! If any of you are looking for a long time epic fantasy read, this is one I recommend. Well, really any of Sanderson’s books are fantastic, but get ready and buckle up because Sanderson has a long reading list and writing list he is wanting to tackle. He’s easily in my top 3 favorite authors… can you tell? lol
I hope all of you have had a wonderful 2024! The year seemed to have flown by, but that means I at least had fun as the days were happening. There are so many things to always accomplish as the year goes and it is crazy to think that we are about to step into 2025 already freaking ready. Let’s cheer and raise our cups and books to the new year! I look forward to continuing to sharing my monthly book lists and review thoughts with you all in 2025. I am so grateful to all of you for sticking out the months and years with me. Ya’ll are amazing!

Reading Theme: Musical Sounds in the Title
Since this month generally has the most well-known carols and jingles happening, I figured why not play up the music bit from our books!? All of the picked books for this month have something musical about them. Whether there is someone singer bard style, or there are songs that are lamenting all the feels.
