We have been enjoying a bunch of fun books over the past few months! We’ve gotten a chance to explore some new authors, find new books from different genres, and discover a little more about each other’s shenanigans!

In November, we had a tie for first and decided to try and read both. We picked up Dark Lover by J.R. Ward and On These Black Sands by Vanessa Rasanen.

Our December pick was a bit more holiday focused. We picked to read A Mate for the Christmas Dragon by Zoe Chant. This actually led to us creating a whole section for Chant since the book was so much fun and we finished it so fast! We were finding a new book from the long list to read most of the month and totally plan to keep that author as ongoing!

But now January is fast approaching and our next vote is up!

Here is our choices we are voting on for January’s book in the Book Club:

  • Jane Eyre By Charlette Brontë
  • Haunting of Hill House By Shirley Jackson
  • What if? Fairy Tales By Charlie Wood
  • The Picture of Dorian Gray By Oscar Wilde
  • A Bad Day for Sunshine By Darynda Jones

If you want to read with us and get a vote in what we are reading for the next month (or just join up in the conversation with other book and writing enthusiasts), feel free to join the chat at https://discord.gg/e8uqy5dMan !

Also on updates that are coming soon:

My Monthly Reading List is going to also be coming out on the first of the month so keep an eye out for that too. Along with my yearly wrap up and I hope to have a few book reviews pushed up too. So much to put up at once! What is wrong with me, hehe! That is what I get for being behind on my posting.

Happy New Year everyone!
