Kick off to summer! In my opinion, sitting in a hammock outside with a cold drink and a book is the best way to pass the hot days ahead. Or heading to the beach/pool and being able to read there is just as fantastic! Just don’t forget the sunscreen!
I am super stoked that I was able to get through so many of my library books last month! Hope you guys were able to get your library goals done too. This month is full of random books off my shelves. I have some that are from series that I started a little while back that I am progressing in. Others are some odd ball books that I’ve picked up along the way or have been given to me. But the goal for all of the books I read this month will be to read the ones that I normally wouldn’t pick on my own. And to make sure I stayed honest with this plan I gave my Husband free-reign on the title selection (unless the book was in the middle of the series, then I went with the 1st in that collection) for my books to read! I know if I picked them out I would be biased – even if I tried really hard not to be!
So I’ve put 8 book titles from my TBR shelves into a jar and will be picking them throughout the month to finish. I didn’t do a standard 10 because I do have some books that I planned on reading that aren’t falling into this theme. I’ve got to give myself a little wiggle room to finish all the books I want to!
Time to give the odd books some love too!
